In the context of the above-mentioned invitation to bid, the ECOWAS Commission hereby postpones the deadline for receipt of tenders. And publishes this addendum accordingly.

ADDENDUM N°01

As part of the Open Regional Call for Tenders for the "supply and delivery of 6,522 Metric tons of cereals for the benefit of the Regional Food Security Reserve", the Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF) informs all candidates that the amount of the Bank Bid security for lot 3 is modified as follows « 2,200 dollars or equivalent in ECOWAS members states currencies ».

Accordingly, section 21.1 of the Instructions to Bidders is amended to provide that:

SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 6 522 TONNES OF CEREALS TO THE REGIONAL FOOD SECURITY RESERVE

1	In the English version, it’s said White SORGHUM 1000MT Segou and Also THOUSAND 725MT to Segou. What kind of cereals do you call « THOUSAND »	That is a translation error. So please consider « Millet » rather and not « thousand ».
2	Also, can we send our tenders and all the necessary documents by e mail and also by post DHL	Submission by e-mail is not permitted. Only the submission original and hard copies are indicated in the bidding document (cf. IS 24.1 of the Bid Data Sheet). Therefore, the sending of the bid by DHL is allowed. For this purpose, please indicate the address of the RAAF (cf IS 24.1) for the package delivery, the Title and reference of the bidding process followed by “to be opened only during public opening session”. The package must be delivered before and deadline set in the bidding document.
3	Kindly also clarify the type of WHITE RICE grains is it the 100% broken or 25% broken or 0% broken white this also can help significantly	The breaking rate of white rice is 35% maximum. For more details, please refer to item 3. Technical Specifications, Section VI: Quantity Schedule and Delivery Schedules of the bidding document.

The ECOWAS Commission, acting on behalf of RAAF, is seeking bids in sealed envelopes bids for « the supply and delivery of 6,522 tonnes of cereals for the benefit of the Regional Food Security Reserve, consisting of 8 lots identified below":

Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after the opening date and must be accompanied by a bid security (ORIGINAL) in dollars or equivalent in ECOWAS members states currencies for each lot as below:

Lot 1: The sum of USD 3,000 ;
Lot 2: The sum of USD 11,000;
Lot 3: The sum of USD 2,200;
Lot 4: The sum of USD 19,000;
Lot 5: The sum of USD 19,000;
Lot 6: The sum of USD 6,000;
Lot 7: The sum of USD 5,000; and
Lot 8: The sum of USD 7,000.

The eight (8) lots are distinct and indivisible, and the contract will be awarded per lot. Interested bidders with the required experience and qualifications may bid for one (1) or more lots.

Tenders are submitted to the Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (ARAA), 83 Rue de la Pâture, Super Taco, Lomé, Togo, at the reception office no later than 26 july 2023 at 11:00 GMT

The tenders will be open in public session at the Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (ARAA), 83 Rue de la Pâture, Super Taco, Lomé, Togo, at the conference room on the 1st floor on 26 july 2023 at 11:45 GMT.
