Francis Dabiré officially joined RAAF in February 2016 and has been serving as Programme Officer, Communications and Advocacy. With more than 25 years’ experience, he is an accomplished leader in the supervision and coordination of communication strategies, plans and activities at national, regional, and international levels. He coordinates and supervises all communication programmes under the RAAF portfolio and brings strategic support to the communications of other directorates under the ECOWAS Department for Economic Affairs and Agriculture.
Prior to joining RAAF, he held various regional positions in his capacity of development and corporate communications specialist, enhancing the reputation and credibility of various development organisations (ranking from Civil society organisations, media houses, mining companies, public international organisations, interstates, and research organisations to regional economic communities) and contributing to their growth across Africa. He is very familiar with the international working environment.
Francis holds a master’s degree in both literature/civilisations/foreign languages and corporate communication and is fluent in English and French with working knowledge in German and Latin.
